Brief History of TAMAKLOE House
The Red devils as they are known due to the colour they wear. Torgbui Tamakloe is the left hand chief of the Anlo Paramountcy.
The Red devils as they are known due to the colour they wear. Torgbui Tamakloe is the left hand chief of the Anlo Paramountcy. He is the Chief of Whuti, a town at the left side of Anloga, the traditional capital. He is also the paramount chief of the Amugo traditional area of the Anlos.
The Tamakloe house has been one of the most consistent houses when it comes to the top performing houses in the school, ranging from sports to academics. They are very good in long distance races and field events for boys and girls. When it comes to soccer, just pray you are not put in Tamakloe’s group. The house master for the house is Mr Evans Hiatorpe.

Aims and Objectives
To seek and instill in its member’s the sense of belonging, discipline,patriotism,dedication to the course of academic excellence and upholding the positive tradional norms and believes.
- Academic Excellence: we aim at raising learners that inspire academic excellence through proper academic guidance, one-on-one tuition as well as equipping learners with effective and efficient study methods.
- Holistic Development: To cultivate a house environment that nurtures the physical, intellectual, emotional and social growth of learners through democratic and fair leadership.
- Leadership and Responsibility: To nurture, train and develop responsible leaders that are well equipped and prepared to lead with integrity, passion, commitment and compassion to make positive impacts in society.
- Discipline: create an environment that instill in leaners a sense of self-discipline through the enforcement of rules and regulations, collaboration with other house-parents, advice and unannounced visits to the dormitories
ACHIEVEMENT and CHALLENGES
Achievements
The house chalked several successes in the following areas:
- Sanitation and cleanliness
When it comes to sanitation and cleanliness, the custodians cater for seven (7) lawns and still we never exit the first position during Inter-House Sanitation inspections. For about five consecutive times, the house won the most hygienic and orderly house. Even during general grounds work, no house does it faster and cleaner than we do. By now you should known that the custodians have a good reputation in sanitation and cleanliness
- Sports and Games
With the sports and games, we always strive for the best. The house members are multi-talented therefore produce a sizable number of sport boys and girls for the institute and many trophies are won
- Discipline
In terms of discipline, the custodians are noted for their regularity and time consciousness to social gatherings. A true custodian always signs his/her exeats before leaving the four walls of The Great ANTECH.
SOME CHALLENGES
The house is faced with numerous challenges including:
- Limited number of dormitories to accommodate members.
- Inadequate beds
- Financial constrains
- Poor parent-teacher relationship
