Old Students’ Homecoming 2026

ANLO TECHNICAL INSTITUTE Announces Plans for Grand Old Students’ Homecoming Celebration

Management Constitutes Planning Committee to Revitalize Alumni Engagement

ANLO TECHNICAL INSTITUTE has announced plans to organize a special Old Students’ Homecoming Celebration as part of efforts to reconnect the school with its former students and strengthen their participation in the affairs and development of the institution.

The initiative follows management’s observation that participation and engagement of the school’s old students in the activities of the institution have, in recent times, been relatively minimal. Management believes that reconnecting with former students will provide an important opportunity to rebuild relationships, celebrate shared experiences, and create a stronger and more active alumni community.

The decision to organize the homecoming celebration was communicated to staff during a recent staff meeting held on Thursday, 17th September 2026.

The proposed homecoming is expected to bring together former students of ANLO TECHNICAL INSTITUTE from different years and generations. The event will provide a platform for old students to reconnect with one another, interact with current members of the school community, revisit their memories of the institution, and explore meaningful ways of supporting the continued growth and development of their alma mater.

Homecoming Planning Committee

To ensure that the initiative is properly coordinated and successfully implemented, management has constituted a planning committee comprising the following members:

  1. Mr. James Deffor — Chairman
  2. Mr. Fredrine Afeamekor — Member
  3. Miss Rosemary Kwashi — Member
  4. Mr. Hope Fiakpornu — Member
  5. Mr. Rabbi Mensah — Member

The committee will be responsible for working with management and other relevant stakeholders to plan and coordinate the various aspects of the homecoming celebration.

A Call to Former Students

Management is therefore using this opportunity to reach out to all former students of ANLO TECHNICAL INSTITUTE and encourage them to look forward to this important gathering in November 2026

The homecoming is envisioned not merely as a social event, but as an opportunity to revamp and strengthen the relationship between the school and its old students. It is also expected to create a platform through which alumni can contribute their experience, expertise, ideas, networks, and other forms of support towards the advancement of the institution.

Former students are encouraged to remain attentive to official announcements from the school regarding the date, venue, programme of activities, registration arrangements, and other important details concerning the celebration.

Building a Stronger Alumni Community

ANLO TECHNICAL INSTITUTE recognizes that its former students remain an important part of the history and continuing legacy of the institution. Their achievements, experiences, and contributions represent an important connection between the school’s past, present, and future.

Management is therefore hopeful that the planned homecoming will mark the beginning of a renewed and lasting relationship with the school’s old students, creating a stronger alumni network and establishing new opportunities for collaboration and institutional development.

ANLO TECHNICAL INSTITUTE warmly welcomes all former students to join this important initiative as the school prepares to reconnect, reminisce, celebrate, and build a stronger future together.
