General Assembly and Official Welcome Back of Year Three Students from WEL Work Place Experience Learning
Antech School proudly hosted its General Assembly to mark the official welcome back of Year Three students who successfully completed their Work Place Experience Learning (WEL) program. The event was held in the school auditorium and brought together staff, students, and faculty members in a spirit of celebration and reflection.
The assembly began with a warm atmosphere of anticipation as students returned from their workplace immersion, eager to share the skills and insights gained during their time in professional environments. The WEL program, designed to bridge classroom learning with real-world practice, has become a cornerstone of Antech’s academic journey, preparing students for both higher education and future careers.

The Principal’s Address In his opening remarks, the Principal commended the Year Three students for their dedication and resilience throughout the WEL program. He emphasized the importance of discipline, adaptability, and innovation—qualities that the students had demonstrated during their workplace experiences. He reminded them that the lessons learned outside the classroom are invaluable tools for shaping their future paths.
Vice Principal Academics’ Remarks The Vice Principal Academics followed with an inspiring speech, highlighting the academic significance of the WELL program. He noted that the integration of practical experience with academic study strengthens students’ problem-solving abilities and critical thinking. She encouraged the returning students to apply their newfound knowledge to enrich classroom discussions and inspire their peers.
Looking Ahead
The assembly concluded with a renewed sense of purpose among the Year Three students. Their return marks not just the continuation of their academic journey, but also the beginning of the last lap of their schools journey. The preparation toward the Final CTVET NC1 Certification exams has just hit a whole new heights. With exams scheduled to begin early May with practicals and mid May for Generics and later for Trade area, Facilitators and students alike have new vigor towards their preparedness.
