PRINCIPAL

MR. JEROME G. APETORGBOR, is the Current Principal of Anlo Technical Institute. From a humble Beginning,he has a strong backround in the Science and Mathematics. He completed Anlo Secondary School where he offered Science. He holds Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Geomatic Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). MR. APETORGBOR also holds a Masters of Education Degree in Educational studies with major in Leadership and Administration from the University of Cape Coast.

In his teaching carrier, he rose from the rank of the Principal Superintendent through Assistant Director II to Assistant Director I and finally to the Deputy Director rank while in GES. He was a teacher of Mathematics and sometimes Science for several years. He also held positions as form master and later the position of a house Master for more than a decade. Before becoming the Principal of the Institute in October 2024, he held the position of the Vice Principal Administration of the School after he was promoted to the rank of a Deputy Director in the erstwhile GES. He is also a sports enthusiast and was once a school soccer coach.

MR. JEROME G. APETORGBOR,has been instrumental and led the construction of the current school sports field which was non-existent for almost five decades since the inception of the school. No wonder some call the school park, the “Papa J Park”. The J being his first name, Jerome. The current fencing and gating the school has been championed by the him. The Principal with his short stay in office and with internal funds and donations from benevolent persons and old students, also initiated the reconstruction of the current small and dilapidated dining hall to a size which when completed will become the biggest auditorium in the Anloga Municipality.

There are almost limitless initiatives that can be attributed to the coming into office of the current Principal that need time (in duration) to be listed.
